Magnetism: Another Idiosyncrasy of Boron?

چکیده
We have studied the magnetic properties of various Boron particles obtained by different methods and found evidence soft ferromagnetism in all. While our study cannot unequivocally exclude that is at origin magnetism, we suggest impurities which are either result synthetic process or come from intentional doping indeed responsible for observed properties. The phenomenon bears similarities with what oxides such as MgO ZnO.
